Taylor is currently a transition counselor (10+ years) in Pittsburgh public schools serving individuals with disabilities (physical, cognitive, developmental, mental health, sensory, etc.). She assists individuals with planning for post-secondary education, employment, and independent living goals. She also collaborates with outside agencies and service providers to meet the students’ educational needs and set them up for success as they enter adulthood. Previously, she was a job coach for students entering the workforce and a CSEP clinician. She also spent several years coaching Brashear’s Unified Track & Field team and assisted with the start of the first Unified sports teams (in association with Special Olympics) in Pittsburgh Public Schools.
In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends. She also loves to dance, go golfing, and travel. Most of all, she adores spending time with her husband, infant daughter, toddler son, and their English bulldog, Brulee.
