August is the Project Coordinator for the MEET (Managing Everyday Emotions Together) Study, under PI Dr. Jessie Northrup. Before joining the REAACT lab, August was an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Katie Walton’s lab at the Ohio State University Nisonger Center. August is interested in studying trauma and neurodevelopment in autism, and in developing interventions that improve the lives of autistic people and their families. When not in the lab, August can be found reading with his cat, Poe.
August graduated from Ohio State University in December 2023 with a B.A. in English and a minors in Developmental Psychology and Disability Studies
