Rebecca graduated in August 2025 from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Psychology and minors in Hispanic Language and Culture as well as Exercise Science. She has a range of previous research experience including a market research internship with Olson Zaltman Associates, and research assistant roles in both the ExerSleep lab and the START Smart/TIPS Lab at the University of Pittsburgh.
She plans to attend graduate school, earn a PhD, and conduct psychological research her career long-term. She is passionate about investigating and improving mental health, especially within disadvantaged or minority groups. As a Research Specialist in REAACT's Dissemination and Partnership Core, she is growing her research and outreach expertise.
She is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio where she grew up with my parents and two older siblings. She loves trying new activities and have a broad range of interests - from reading, to running, to painting, and playing the guitar. One fun fact about her is that she lived in Brazil during her childhood.
